A restaurant with local and western breakfast, KTV, and free WiFi. There's also a 24-hour front desk, a garden, and a terrace. The hostel has everything you need, so convenient!
The staff think it's hilarious to order overpriced taxis for you. Sooo funny.

The guestrooms here at Explore Hostel are just perfect for a good night's sleep. They have all the amenities you need, like an electric kettle and air conditioning. I stayed in a double room with a balcony, and let me tell you, it was amazing! The view from the balcony was breathtaking and it made my stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the fact that the room had soundproofing. As a light sleeper, this was a big plus for me. the room was cozy and comfortable, making my stay here very enjoyable.
One thing that I liked less about my room was the lack of a private bathroom. Having to use a shared bathroom wasn't ideal for me, but I do understand that this is a hostel and it's a common feature.

Had a great time at the hostel over New Year's! the staff was super friendly and helpful, and they even spoke English. Rented bikes, which were pretty good, and it only took about 15 minutes to bike to the lake. the lounge area had lots of games and was really comfortable. there were good and cheap food options nearby, just a short walk up the slope.
The location was a bit far from the lake, so we needed to take a taxi or bus to get there or to anything nearby. the breakfast muesli and porridge could have been more generously sized.

I recently stayed at the Westlake Hostel in Hangzhou for a week-long vacation. The staff, especially Kelsy, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel itself had a homely and welcoming atmosphere, with pleasant decoration. The location was great, nestled in a beautiful, leafy area near the West Lake landmarks, Hangzhou Zoo, and plenty of dining options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast provided was delicious. it was excellent value for money and I highly recommend this hostel.
I do recommend this hostel.

The location of the hostel is a bit tricky to find, but the staff is very helpful in providing directions or even picking you up from the main street. The rooms are clean and quiet, with a refreshing view of the tea hills from the balcony. The common room is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture, and there is a beautiful garden to enjoy. Additionally, the staff is extremely helpful and fluent in English, making communication easy. Payment with credit card is also accepted.
It may take some time to order a taxi, so careful planning is needed for transportation.

Had a great stay at a cosy hostel with friendly staff. The location was convenient, with good nearby public transport and within walking distance to the beautiful Westlake. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although the WiFi in the room was not the best, it wasn't a big issue as I was out exploring Hangzhou most of the time. The hostel also offered reasonably priced basic food, including a good breakfast. I would recommend this hostel for a fun and enjoyable stay in Hangzhou.
